Video interview with an amator perfumer, that talks about her passion and how she started creating artisanal perfumes.
This video will be about a passion. A passion for smells and perfumes.
The person I am going to show is not a celebrity but a simple European girl born in Bucharest that has perfumes as a hobby. The reason I believe her story is worth presenting is that she found a way to pass it on to others by doing volunteering for a non-profit organization aiming at teaching people about topics they are not normally learning about.
The video will follow the interview in which she describes how she first discovered the impact of smells in her life and how she then developed a passion about understanding the mechanics around perfume creation. I then will introduce images from her “ateliers” back in Bucharest, as well as videos of the materials typically needed for a perfume class.
The aim of my video is to socialize such an “exotic” hobby and the organization’s initiative to allow for non-specialized, but passionate, amateur teachers to meet curios, open-minded communities. Spreading knowledge in a free environment, from where participants can opt out at any time, their presence being based solely on interest to find out about a new topic, is a successful way of pushing the boundaries of classical vocational schools.
